Deep drawn filled and sealed plastics containers making machine - uses rectangular foils and has deep drawing and sealing tools arranged in complete and partial set rows

Machine for mfg. rectangular arrays of filled and sealed containers from deep drawn plastics foils and arranged in staggered rows and provided with frangible lines for separation from the arrays. The containers are arranged in at least two rows and the tools of the device (10, 11) for simultaneous deep drawing and filling of one row are arranged in two rows. One has a complete set of tools and the other, which is offset in the direction of movement of the plastics foil, has a partial set of tools. Devices having tools for provision of the lines of weakness have rows provided with complete sets of tools. Used for mfg. sealed foodstuff containers. Economical utilisation of foils having uneven number of containers is permitted with min. alteration to machine.
