The tool is used to remove blockages from domestic waste pipes etc. utilising mains water pressure to flush the obstruction away. An inflatable plug (1) is inserted into the waste pipe. An injection nozzle has a bore of uniform dia. having a nose section (2) of uniform external dia. and tapering out to form a ribbed coupling spigot (5) at the opposite end. The inflatable membranes (1) is fixed about the nose section which has an aperture (8) communicating with the expandable volume (11). Once coupled to a hose (6) the nozzle is inserted in the waste pipe (9) until the obstruction (10) is encountered and the tap is turned on. Mains water (7), thus, blocked by the obstruction causes the plug to expand and pressure to increase until the obstruction yields.
