The suspension is fitted at the rear of a car. It has two swinging arms (6) and a braking system which puts load back on the chassis to compensate fore lifting. The pivots of the swinging arms (F2) are behind the rear wheels. The slope of the arms is a function of the rolling centre chosen. The centre of the vehicle is thus unimpeded and can house ample seating and a tank between the wheels. The shock absorber can be placed behind the seat back even in a short length.
