Theformwork unit is for shuttering used particularly in erecting rapidly built structures in residential or holiday settlements or emergency housing. The assembly consists of two or more upright walls (2), and an angle piece (7) forming an edge between them, in the form of two successive plates or panels (8, 9) hinged together along this edge. There are hinge joints to connect each angle piece plate to an appropriate wall, and units for simultaneously moving each wall parallel to itself, mechanically connected with walls, to form a single unit for manipulation.
