A rotating platform (9) is mounted in the centre of the tray, and this may be turned by an operating button (14). The rotating tray has a number of adjacent hollows (10) randomly numbered with the possible numbers in the game. Balls of the right size to fit into the hollows are thrown outwards when the platform turns, and come to rest in the hollows when the platform stops. Blocks (8) on the tray deflect the balls while they are rolling around.
