PURPOSE:To increase bearing capacity of a pile and also decrease the number of piles employed, by fitting a steel tube with uneven surface inside to the lower end of the pile so as to increase friction with a foot-protection part and strengthen punch-shearing stress. CONSTITUTION:A steel-tube member 1 is formed by a tube part 2 and a jaw 3 connected with the tube, and the tube part 2 is inserted into the inside of a concrete pile 11. The jaw 3 has a disc-like form of a given width with horizontal extension from the lower end of the tube part 2 and, being thereby engaged with the lower-end surface of the pile 11 and mounted on the lower end of the pile when the pile is hammered, is buried in a hole dug out, together with the concrete pile. On the inner surface of the tube part 2 is formed unevenness 4 and are also formed there one or several, for instance, of rings by welding, solid forming or the like, both for the purpose of increasing friction with the hardener injected after the piles being hammered in.
