PREVENTING METHOD FOR CHARGE POTENTIAL FLUCTUATION OF PHOTORECEPTOR FOR ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHY

PURPOSE:To obtain copies of a fixed image density by beforehand giving light fatigue to the arsenic-selenium-base photoreceptor for electrophotography to be reiteratively used then using the same. CONSTITUTION:In making plural copies involving reiterative use of an arsenic-selenium-base photoreceptor for electrophotography (containing relatively a large amount, e.g., about 25wt% of arsenic), light fatigue is given to the photoreceptor from the first use by radiating the photoreceptor from the first use by radiating the photoreceptor with light of wavelengths of 6000-10000Angstrom , after which the applied voltage in charging process is adjusted according to this light fatigue degree and the charging potential required, whereby copying is done.
