PURPOSE:To obtain the clutch device which is easy and sure to adjust the transmission torque to the reel shaft of the projector by selecting the quantity and spring diameter of the U-springs which connect the plugral V-grooves of a friction pulley and a clutch cam. CONSTITUTION:A clutch cam 15 is turned by means of the pin 14 in contact with the U-form springs 12... fitted into the V-grooves 11... of a friction pulley 9 which is driven by a belt 10 and the torque through a clutch plate 7 is transmitted to the reel shaft 3 of the projector. The torque transmitted to the cam 15 of this case is determined by the quantity and spring diameter of the springs 12.... Hence, if the spring corresponding to the contrast table or the like is beforehand selected, the clutch device which permits easy and sure adjustment of the projector reel turning torque of varying necessary torques according to film housing capacity, etc. at the foreward and backward running is obtained.
