SEMIISINKING TYPE TWINNFUSELAGE SHIP EQUIPPED WITH PITCHING REDUCING PLATE

PURPOSE:To prevent pitching in stoppage or in low-speed navigation by arranging horizontal pitching-reducing plates which freely ascend and descend between each stay of a semi-sinking type twin-fuselage ship. CONSTITUTION:A semi-sinking type twin-fuselage ship consists of the lower ship body part 4 and the supporting pillar ship body part 3 which elongates upward, at the lower position than the draft 1 and the upper ship body part 2 connected with said supporting pillar part upper on the sea surface, and between each supporting pillar ship body part 3, horizontal pitching-reducing plates 6 are arranged in free ascent and descent. The pitching reducing plate 6 is lowered in stoppage of the semi-sinking twin-fuselage ship or in low-speed navigation, and prevents the pitching of the ship. In high-speed navigation, a dynamic lift is generated by the fin 5 of the lower ship body part 4, and the dynamic stability of the ship is maintained, so the horizontal pitching-reduceing plates 6 are made unnecessary, and the plates are elevated.
