REMOTE CONTROL METHOD FOR DOUBLEESCREEN DISPLAY TELEVISION PICTURE RECEIVER

PURPOSE:In case the insertion position of the minor screen to be inserted into the screen of the TV picture receiver is shifted via the remote control method, the sequential shift is started at the position next to the position shifted manually in the direction which is decided previously. CONSTITUTION:One of the display positions 1-8 is set by operating manually switch 50 of display position selection switch 51 for minor screen 15'' in major screen 15' of double-screen display TV picture receiver 41. In other words, the position information of one side is applied to display gate control circuit 54 via the switch operation, and the other end is turned into the 4-bit signal through encoder 52 to be supplied to octal counter 58. Thus the manual position is set for the minor screen. Then with application of the pulses to receiver 34 from transmitter 35 for the remote control purpose, counter 58 counts the numbers of the pulses. And the count value is supplied to display gate control circuit 54 via decoder 59, and thus the minor screen is shifted by the count value from the initially set position.
