PURPOSE:To carry out the above mentioned air tight test of long weld structure with a simple means at a stroke, by providing a long groove concavely at the welding tip face of side plate in longish direction and carrying out both faces fillet welding contacting the tip face with bottom plate crossing at right angles and then, introducing pressure gas from the pressure gas jetting nozzle connecting with the long groove. CONSTITUTION:The long groove 7 is provided at the welding tip face of the side plate 2 concavely in longish direction and the above tip face is contacted with the bottom plate 1 crossing at right angles and then, fillet welding 4 is carried out. Next, the pressure gas jetting nozzle 6 connecting with the groove 7, is provided with the butt strap 3 and the pressure gas introducing groove 8 and the guide groove 9, are provided concavely. Then, the pressure gas is introduced in the groove 7 from the nozzle 6 through the groove 8,9 and air tight test after welding is carried out. Defective part is able to easily detect by spreading soapy water etc. on the outer face of weld zone preliminary, because air bubble of testing liquid are formed when welding defect is found.
