BUFFER MEMORY CONTROL SYSTEM AND INFORMATION PROCESSOR CONTAINING BUFFER MEMORY

PURPOSE:To make the region for the constant residence part ineffective for the buffer memory being made ineffective to increase the hit rate of the buffer memory by partitioning the region of the buffer memory into the operating system constant residence part region and the user program region. CONSTITUTION:The information process system contains in the information processor the buffer memory which holds the whole or part of the data memorized in the main memory. In such process system, the region of data part 303 in the buffer memory is partitioned into the operating system constant residence region which holds the copy of the part where the data altered by other information processors or the input channel device under the system operation is not utilized and the user program region where the copy of the areas other than the constant residence region. Then encoder 313 is provided as well as comparator circuit 306 which uses the output of directory part 305 as the input, and the user program region is made ineffective before the use of the data which has possibility in that the information processor may be altered by other information processors or the input/output channel device.
