METHOD OF REDDHEAT COMBUSTION UNDER ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE

PURPOSE:To stabilize a flame, by surrounding the flame with a heat-resisting air control wall having air holes to regulate the quantity of burning air for the flame. CONSTITUTION:The heat-resisting air control wall 5 extends continuously to a flame hole 4. The air holes 6 are perforated through the air control wall 5. A fuel gas is injected from the flame hole 4 into a space (a) surrounded by the air control wall 5 so that the gas is burned. Since the pressure of the space (a) is made lower than the atmospheric pressure by natural draft, the burning air is introduced into the space through the air holes 6. A quantity of air necessary for red-heat combustion can be set by selecting the size and number of the air holes 6.
