COMBUSTION CONTROLLER FOR CITY WASTE INCINERATOR

PURPOSE:To conduct a stable combustion of waste by controlling waste feed amount and air amount according to boiler pressure and changes in the concentrations of NOx and O2 in the exhaust gas and recirculating the exhaust gas for cooling. CONSTITUTION:A pressure signal a of a boiler 1 is fed to a controller 2, and an air misfeed controller 3, draft amount controller 7, and waste charge amount controller 9 are so operated as to increase waste feed amount and air amount when the pres- sure has decreased. Exhaust gas is sampled by an exhaust-gas sampler 19, the average concentrations of NOx and O2 over a predetermined time period are calculated from the concentrations detected by NOx- and O2-concentration detectors 20 and 21, and an oxygen concentration recording controller 25 controls draft amount. The amount of exhaust gas recirculated into the furnace is adjusted by a furnace-temperature signal b having passed through a non-linear circuit 28. The amount of waste charged into a waste charge hopper 36 is so controlled by a correction circuit 33 as not to exceed a predetermined amount in a predetermined time period.
