PURPOSE:To enable continuous measurement and raise its accuracy, by introducing the top of a blast furnace into a gas chromatograph analyzer through a gas sample leveling container. CONSTITUTION:A container tip cap 3 and a container butt cap 4, which have numerous gas ejection holes 2, are secured on both the end ports of a cylindrical container 1 and a piston 5 fitted with a reciprocating mechanism 6 is provided in the container 1, thereby forming a leveling container 7. The leveling container is equipped between a gas chromatograph apparatus 10 and a sampling unit 9 which communicates with a furnase top gas pick-up tube 8. When the piston 5 is moved forth (leftward), conduits 13, 14 are opened through three-way valves 11, 16. When the piston 5 is moved back (rightward), other conduits 12, 15 are opened. A gas sample made uniform by the leveling container 7 is introduced into the gas chromatograph apparatus 10 so that the gas sample is continuously measured.
