Cement slurries comprising (a) iron (II) sulfate, or hydrate thereof, (b) aluminum sulfate, or a hydrate thereof, (c) a hydraulic cement comprising calcium hydroxide or a hydrolyzable calcium oxide (e.g., a Portland cement), and (d) water, are described.
