We claim   1. A process equipment for the continuous treatment of finely divided solids, wherein the solid is fed continuously through a screw conveyor or through a stand pipe cum pneumatic system into a cylindrical reactor, lined inside with refractories and having a perforated conical gas distributor at the bottom with the cone jacketed by a gas distribution box to which gases are fed, the reactor, also being fitted with a overflow pipe, located externally or internally for discharging the solid and a gas-solid separator located internally at the top of the reactor with dipleg embedded in the fluid bed for returning the entrained solids into the fluid bed.
