Odour closure in cesspit construction - is fitted to end wall via snap closures or thread units and to inner flange of pipe connection

The case pit (1) has a feed and an outlet, and has inside an odour closure (5) removable in a fixed position, and fitted to a lock chamber end wall (4). The fixture of the closure is effected by snap closures or screw thread units symmetrically arranged around the pit outlet. Furthermore, it is fitted on an inner flange (7) of a pipe connection (6) connected to the pit outlet wall. This involves the pipe connection having a primary U-shaped flange in which the peripheral edge of the pit outlet (2) is accommodated. A secondary U-shaped flange takes a pipe part (9) provided with an end flange.
