The method is for the wind-safe covering of a roof, partic. one of the flat type. It involves the application of loose plates or tiles which allow the passage of sun rays. These plates are not anchored to the roof, and between them and the roof surface proper are spaces to allow air flow under the covering. The plates or tiles can be made of concrete with granular material inserts, the granules being equal in size. They may also be made of normal concrete material with through holes to allow passage of air and sun heat.
