Preparation cutting process for wooden frame component - uses two sloping cuts with parts beyond them then displaced and turned before joining again with intermediary part

The preparation is for a window frame with two projecting flanges towards the same side. A rectangular cross-section piece of wood is divided into at least two parts which after positioning are joined together again. The wood (1) is cut using at least two incisions (2, 3) sloping opposite directions, and which issue in the widest limit surfaces of the piece. The two parts (5, 6) outside the cuts are displaced in the direction of the wood thickness in relation to the part (4) between the cuts, and after turning around the lengthways axis are joined to that intermediary part.
