The wall bracket is for the fastening of fittings of a pre-assembled awning. It has a C-shaped housing to accommodate profiled sections, to which are fastened the supports of the rolling-up tubes and the tensioning arms of the awning. The base of the housing has a groove, extending from front to rear, to accommodate a removable rod. The rod extends in a horizontal direction and extends the housing to the front. The rod serves as a temporary support for the profiled sections (5), before this is inserted into the housing of the bracket. The depth of the groove is larger than the thickness of the rod, the front edge of which is bent over.
