A plate fitting for connecting a tiled roof to a roof lead-in, wall or the like, especially intended for connection and sealing against a roof tile lying in an end row of roof tiles extending in the sloping direction of the roof. A first section 1 of the plate fitting has a connection moulding 2, intended to receive the longitudinal edge of the roof tile and terminated with an outer edge 3, and a second section 5 connected to the first section along a connecting line 5 is intended to be connected to the wall (or equivalent). According to the invention, the second section is frustoconical, delimited by the connecting line 5 and a top edge 6. The angle between these two delimitations for the second section is equal in size to the difference between the slope of the roof and that of the tiles. The plate fittings are laid like roof tiles interdigitated in the roof tile layer, the top edge 6 for successive fittings ending up on a common line following the slope of the roof. IMAGE
