The tungsten disulphide has laminar and hexagonal crystalline structure and average granular dia. of 2 mu or less. Silicate is e.g. sodium silicate having wt. ratio of SiO2/Na2O of 1.0 to 2.5 or potassium silicate having wt. ratio of SiO2/K2O of 1.0 to 3.0). Coagulating agent is e.g. zinc oxide, clacium chloride, magnesium sulphate or sodium borate. The releasing and lubricating compsn. is used for coating the interior of moulds producing shaped glass prods. at very high temp.
