Three-dimensional building element comprising a generally polyhedral hollow body having at least one opening, in which at least one peripheral rib is provided forming a closed frame, the sides of this rib and its corners being bevelled, so that, in a construction consisting of a single element carrying several ribs, as well as in a construction consisting of several elements each having a single rib and placed against each other with the frames formed by their ribs parallel to each other, the cross section of a recess forms a geometrical figure complementary to the figure formed by a cross section of a rib, thus allowing the engagement, in a recess, of a rib belonging to another element contiguous to the first element. And, a process for the manufacture of such an element.
