ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREAn electrical input signal representative of theexisting operating state of a rotating bladed disk is classi-fied into one of a plurality of predetermined operatingstates and a sequence detector is employed for detecting theoccurrence of one of a plurality of possible predeterminedsequences of such operating states. Predetermined fixeddamage coefficients are then correlated with respectivelycorresponding detected predetermined sequences of operatingstates and accumulated with other similarly selected damagecoefficients so as to provide a cumulative indication of lowcycle fatigue damage done to the rotating bladed disk overits past history of experienced operating state sequences.-- 1 --- 1 -
