ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREA fishing vessel especially suitable for fishing in icebound waters,said fishing vessel having a bow bulb, said bow bulb being rhomboid in cross-section, the edge of the said bulb being provided with an ice-ramming edge,said fishing vessel having, in the stern section of the hull, a longitudinalvertical cut-out, a fixed or an adjustable slipway being accommodated in thesaid cut-out, said adjustable slipway being hinged along the head edge of thesaid cut-out, an equipment being installed at both sides of the said cut-out,in the midship and the stern section of the hull, said equipment designed forholding of trawl ropes and of fishing gear in the water channel which is freeof ice, and for holding of the trawl ropes themselves above the working deckor above the water line, said fishing vessel being equipped with a propellersituated in the stern section of an even hull. There are one, or two, recessesprovided in the bottom of the hull, said recess or recesses going deeper inthe direction from the midship section toward the place where the propeller issituated, so as to effectively direct the water stream to the cut-out.
