An automatic cigarette packer hopper tray feeding device which comprises a tray for cigarettes, a feed conveyor and a container to receive the cigarettes from the tray, elevator means to transfer a tray of cigarettes from the conveyor to a means to overturn the tray of cigarettes and position the cigarettes in an orderly manner in the container and to return the empty tray to the elevator.
