Manual override for automatic camera - with manual switch to swing sprung retainer into exposure measuring stop and magnetically operated control moved by transistor current

The automatic camera has a sensor which monitors the position of the exposure indicator and sets the apertures accordingly. For the manual overide the sensor is blocked by a sprung retainer so that the aperture setting linkage is free to be used by the manual controls. - The system uses only one linkage for the aperture control, with the automatic, sprung, linkage held aside so as not to interfere with the manual settings. The electronic part of the circuit includes a transistor with the control magnet coil in the collector/emitter circuit path.
