Control for induction gap in heat treatment process - has component piece model with air gauge sensing to control clearance with inductor

A measuring jig is used to provide accurate setting of the critical distance between a heat treatment inductor and the workpiece to be hardened. A mounting jig has one surface for the support of the inductor and a horizontal surface for mounting the test piece. The test piece has critical distances that are measured by air gauge nozzles. The back pressure generated by the gap is monitored by a manometer unit.
