Deep drilling machine with cooling lubricant circuit - has feed pipe with vertically running aperture coupled rigidly to bottom of lubricating unit

The aperture opens into an annular chamber. The lubricating unit rests in a support containing a cooling lubricant supply channels coupled to the feed pipe. The plug connection is sealed by an O-ring. The lead-in end of the pipe is conical in shape. The lubricant is supplied to the support via a feed tube and connecting pipe which is flanged onto the side of the support. In order to change the lubricating unit the rapid clamping arms are released and the unit lifted out with the aid of a ring attached to its top. The device is intended to reduce markedly the periods of disuse of deep drilling machines when changing the drilling tool.
