Mosaic printing head with underlining facility - has additional mosaic element which operates beyond limits of main printing head

Two such additional mosaic elements (6) are provided which lie beyond the line on which the main printed symbols fall and that these elements are positioned laterally relative to the main row of mosaic elements. The main mosaic printing head has several ink spray systems whereby a spray system (1) is provided with at least two nozzles (6) fed from a common outlet channel. These nozzles or jets lie on a common line beyond the symbol. The additional mosaic elements allow underlining to be effected simultaneously with printing the main symbols.
