The design is specifically concerned with improving the carrying capacity of high pressure vessels. It is for use in the chemical and petrochemical industries; in the physical processing of synthetic minerals and geological research. The design avoids the use of increased wall thickness or increased strength of wall material. The main patent describes a system that feeds an electric current into the pressure vessel wall. The power is proportional to the pressure exerted inside the vessel. In this addition, the electric current is fed in thorugh the cover and the base of the vessel which are made from material of high magnetic permeability. The current can either be a direct current or a series of electric impulses.
