Appts. for the upper fabric feed system of a sewing machine, where a continuous band is driven intermittently to advance the fabric by bearing against its upper surface. The deflecting component for the continuous band, mounted on a swing lever, is fitted with recesses for the axle studs of loose rollers. The deflection of the continuous band occurs within a recess in the sewing machine presser foot. The design reduces the friction wear on the continuous band, increasing its useful operating life.
