Compressed gas circuit breaker - has housing filled with non:ionisable gas, and movable contact sealed by sylphon bellows

The circuit breaker has a closed housing filled with a non-ionisable, insulating compressed gas. It has a fixed contact connected to an external terminal, and a rod-shaped movable contact brought outside and forming there the second terminal. It can be connected to a drive. The contact point consists of butt-end surfaces of the two contacts (2, 3) pressed together. A sealing sylphon bellows (4) is fastened to a housing (1) wall (1b) and to the movable contact (3). When released, it holds the movable contact (3) in its off position.
