Dialysis membrane for haemodialysis in the form of a hollow fibre, a tubular or flat sheet, made of cellulose regenerated by an ammoniacal soln. of copper oxide. The membrane consists of =2 layers, adhering firmly to one another, one layer being of regenerated cellulose and =1 of the other layers being of regenerated cellulose with =95% of absorbent particles. Membrane may be used for artificial kidney machines, with high operational safety.
