The agricultural tipping trailer has two rams driven by two ganged pumps powered by a single drive shaft. Non-return valves between the pumps and the reservoir and the pumps and the rams ensure an accurate operation. Pressure dumping valves on the pressure sides of the pumps prevent overpressure of the rams and possible damage. The dump valves release all the pressure on the pump output so that a market drop in operating torque is experienced by the operator, without the rams dropping. Further operation of the pumps is stopped so that uneven strain is prevented.
