The building blocks may be used to construct walls and have a basic unit of 500mm x 300mm x 250mm including mortar joints. The block dimensions are arranged to give a wall of 300mm thickness and with all vertical joints falling on a 125mm square internal plan grid. Special blocks are used at corners and partitions wall junctions to maintain the grid requirements with out the necessity to cut blocks on site. At external right-angled corners a block with a length of 550 mm may be used. A further version of the corner block may have a 250mm x 150mm plan recess and provide for wall ducts at corners. Blocks of 425mm and 375mm in overall length may be used in combination at partition wall junctions.
