Platen press for chipboards - double load for each daylight being sepd. by caul electrically heated during pressing

In the prodn. of chipboards, fibreboards etc. the material is pressed in a press with permanently hot platens, an electrically heated heated caul is placed between two material layers and is energised only when or after pressure is applied. Used for prodn. of good quality boards (esp. in their surface properties), quality is equal to that produced by using electrically heated platens, method can be applied to existing layouts.
