The water craft manoeuvring engine has a casing whose front is constructed as a suction section, an annular duct carrying the driving water. Adjacent to an outlet port for the driving water is an annular discharge slot, a rear part being constructed as a divergent nozzle with an outlet port. The rearward part (12) of the casing has an inlet port (31) with a smaller dia. than that of the outlet port (32). An annular intake slot (35) surrounds the discharge slot (25) of the annular duct (20) for a further suction water jet.
