The bending machine consists of a frame with a bending lever (1) to which a swivelling arrangement (3) is coupled. This swivelling section can move about the centreline of the pipe and consists of two carriers (4). The carriers extend over three quarters of the circumference of a circle and are 'C' shaped. The carriers are interconnected by a frame (14). The swivelling arrangement is mounted on roller sections (5) which travel on semi circular rails (15), to bend the pipe by the lever (1). After the bending of one section, the bent pipe is swivelled over 180 deg. After this, the pipe is in the original position and ready for the next bend.
