The transparent screen support of a colour television CRT is partly coated with a light shading film. The unshaded part is provided with a uniform and parallel colour filter strips. The filter strips are coated with a transparent insulating film. Transparent strip electrodes are provided for leading signals on the strip filters, the insulating film being interposed. Further transparent strip electrodes supply black values to the light shading film. A photoconductive film covers at least the two types of the transparent electrodes. Collecting electrodes are connected to the two types of the strip electrodes. Between the electrodes of both types is a specified distance meeting given equations.
