The arrangement consists of two pairs of rollers, which are mounted behind one another. The rollers are driven by a motor so that a wire mounted between the rollers will be transported. The roller pairs have a number of sets of matching grooves of varying section. The axial position of the rollers can be adjusted with levers to bring a particular set of grooves in line with the direction of infeed. The rollers are built up from a number of grooved rings which are clamped together, so that the rings can be easily interchanged.
