The fuse is armed on firing with a delay so that on hitting an object too close to the launcher the projectile will not explode. The fuse (10) has a threaded sleeve (1) which moves upwards by rotation in housing screw thread under spring load. The priming charge (16) is held during this movement in a safety position. After completion of the sleeve movement the primer is moved into an armed position under the firing pin (19). The rotating movement is generated by a spiral spring (13). An inertia disc (12) is used additionally for relaying the rotating movement of the safety sleeve.
