The coupling has blocks made of elastic material, the coupling elements being held in the longitudinal slots of an internal part. The coupling members engage also with the longitudinal slots in the inner bore of the external sleeve. The coupling blocks have a middle length region of solid cross section. This part fills the slots completely. The end of these elements tapers so that deformation resistance of the blocks decreases. The gaps formed are used to ensure that material can deflect into these gaps when the outside sleeve tilts relative to the inner rotor.
