The equipment for developing a seam in shoe mfr. uses a snout-shaped spray as an adhesive applicator mounted flexibly to a slide travelling over the material support in the direction of the seam. On both sides of the seam line there are two limiting bars, angled upwards away from the material support, which are selectively lowered to bear against the shoe material support. The system allows leathers and plastics to be joined together rapidly, and in a cycle without requiring heat application.
