A clamping device which pulls together their ends faces against a sealing ring, makes a joint between two pipes or two pipe fittings. The inner dia. of the sealing ring corresponds to the inner dia. of the pipes, so that a joint is made without a gap and without any interference with the cross-section of the flow through the pipes. Used for the making of tight-joints in which there is no gap, between pipes, so that there is no possibility of the development of a source of infection in a line for transporting milk to similar.
