In the parent patent, a liq. dyestuff concentrate is added continuously and with uniform distribution over the exhaust phase, to a dyebath preheated to the dyeing temp. and contg. no dyestuff. The dyestuff concn. in the dyebath remains slightly above equilibrium concn. In this addn., the liq. dyestuff concentrate is introduced into the dye bath contg. the goods to be dyed at a position before the jet. Polyester material partic. is dyed more uniformly as better contact is produced between the dye bath and the material. Disperse dyes are partic. suitable for this process.
