In the overhead line (high voltage) suspension system, multiple hinged joints are inserted between the insulator chains and the cable to be suspended. A spacer (3) hinged on two adjacent insulator chains (1, 2) has cantilever arms (11, 12). It is much longer than the spacing (4) between the insulators (1, 2). Coupling bars (21, 22) hinged on the spacer (3) outer ends (16, 17) connect them to the load (20).
