The gun used on fairgrounds, fires conical plugs. The hitting reliability of these conical plugs is high and they are safe in use. On the barrel (1) is a flared muzzle part (4) into which the conical plug (3) is inserted. The outside end (5) is smoothly in contact with the outside edge (6) of the flared cone. The plug can be made of cork, rubber or plastics. The gun can be operated by gas, liquid or a spring. The flare can be integral with the barrel or a separate fitted on part.
