The device has a bistable relay operated by a component connected to the switch. A first change-over switch connects one of two switch position signalling devices to a supply voltage. There is a monostable relay with a switch whose contacts are connected to voltages generating different signals on the signalling devices. Its fixed contact is connected to that of the first changeover switch. Signal wires (2 4) of the bistable relay (K1) pass through a break contact (6) of the monostable relay (K2) whose position depends on that of the second switch (8) of the bistable relay (K1). Decoupling diodes (3 5) are inserted into the wires (2 4) immediately before or after the relay (K1).
